The geopolitics of the USA and the Anglo-Saxon empire: analysis and historical notes

THE GEOPOLITICS OF THE USA AND THE ANGLO-SAXON EMPIRE: FIVE CENTURIES OF WORLD POWER

In our previous articles we have tried to highlight the characteristics of Anglo-Saxon geopolitics as well as its synergy with the Russian empire in the hegemonic attempts that have materialized in the last two hundred years of European and world history. We also underlined how, however, this time the Anglo-Saxon empire and the Russian empire find themselves in geostrategic opposition in the ongoing world conflict. A new fact full of geopolitical and geostrategic consequences. Since the role played by the Russian empire in destroying the enemies of the Anglo-Saxon empire in the last three assaults (that of Napoleon, that of William II and that of Hitler) on the world power of London and Washington was decisive and fundamental for its conservation. Furthermore, the ongoing hegemonic attempt reveals a completely new aspect of contemporary geopolitical dynamics. The challenger (China) is outside the European continent and has no historical roots in Europe (which is truly exceptional if you consider that, in the last five hundred years of world history, the struggle for world power has been an “internal question” to the Western world). Which raises not only reflections on the role of the West in the world but also on the new “geopolitical era” that we are experiencing nowadays. Beyond this, however, we would like to underline the objective that the United States and Great Britain seem to be following in the ongoing Ukrainian conflict and why they went so far as to wage, de facto, war on Russia.

GEOPOLITICS OF THE USA AND THE ANGLO-SAXON EMPIRE IN THE LAST TWO HUNDRED YEARS OF WORLD HISTORY

We have already tried to clarify the features of US geopolitics and the Anglo-Saxon empire in the last five hundred years of European history (https://www.geopolitika.it/en/england-and-the-british-empire-analysis-and-historical-notes/) but in this article we are above all interested in explaining the consequences of the hegemonic attempts prior to the ongoing one in the attempt to understand the purposes that guided Washington and London in the war against contemporary Russia. We have already had the opportunity to write on this site about Napoleon’s hegemonic attempt and the French geopolitical dynamics. If only to clarify how France was, after the last attempt to challenge Anglo-Saxon power (that of Napoleon), “absorbed” into it and in fact subjected to the wishes of the Anglo-Saxon political elites (https://www.geopolitika.it/en/the-geopolitics-of-france-and-the-french-empire-analysis-and-historical-notes/). We still see the consequences today. Paris does not enjoy effective independence and freedom of action with respect to what is decided in Washington and London. The same applies to Germany (which on the two occasions mentioned above attempted to subvert the Anglo-Saxon-led world order) which, once defeated in the Second World War, was “assimilated” within the Anglo-Saxon empire and made vassal surrender.

GEOPOLITICS OF THE USA AND THE ANGLO-SAXON EMPIRE: CONCLUSIONS
In this short article we have tried to clarify how US geopolitics is following the moves of the Anglo-Saxon empire over the last five centuries. That is, how it is fighting its geopolitical and geostrategic rival in order to reduce it to a vassal of the empire itself. The Anglo-Saxon empire wants to do with Russia what it did with France and Germany in the last two centuries. It is difficult to say how this confrontation will develop and whether it will also directly involve China. (but this is likely to happen for more than one reason). What is certain is that immense human and material resources are needed to subdue the Kremlin. And no one, despite having the latter, has ever succeeded. But now there are no alternatives left to trying everything. Time is not in favor of the empire. And instead it seems to play in Moscow’s favor, which is waging a war of attrition and attrition as it has practically done in all the great wars it has fought. In the ongoing conflict we find all the distinctive features of the geopolitics of both empires. Everyone is putting their aces on the table. Who will win’ ?. We have a very clear idea about it. But we don’t have a crystal ball. We rely only on the response of history. Which concerns the past but is also very useful for understanding what the future will be.
